about
Many years ago I bought a used Waldorf Pulse bass synthesizer and started playing around. Soon that bassline test disappeared in the vaults of my harddrive.
Many years later I heard the sound of a beating heart through an ultrasonic machine. It changed my life and ultimately inspired me to finish this track. It can be heard around the 3:00 minute mark.
The vocal snippets are sampled from a Japanese horror film named Pulse. Roughly translated, they are about our spirits traveling to a different realm once we leave this world, and what happens when that realm has reached its capacity.
So there you have it, one simple title, 3 different meanings. That's probably why it feels like 3 tracks wrapped into one... :)
